The police were horrible at Suncorp on Sunday. Constantly hovering around a relatively sparsely populated Den from before kickoff, despite nothing untoward going on. I was sitting with my wife and young children right next to the Den, because our kids love sitting there. I politely said to one police officer that "It's just kids enjoying football". She turned on me and aggressively shouted "It's people like YOU who are the problem". I applaud the young fans of The Den both for their restraint under extreme provocation, and for their walkout.
